Whether you want to be a teacher of yoga or dive deeper into the study of yoga, you will gain a valuable training experience at Yes Power Yoga. In this 200 Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training you will learn not only how to teach a dynamic and powerful yoga class, you will emerge as a stronger leader through developing greater self-awareness, becoming more authentic in all of your communications, and accelerating your personal growth. Erin Rauscher is a ERYT-200, RYT-500 teacher with Yoga Alliance and she will lead you through each weekend workshop.
You will experience plenty of teaching experience, full immersion into the science and philosophy of yoga, a solid foundation in anatomy and physiology and in depth training in the business of yoga.
Program Curriculum – 200 Hour
Techniques Training/Practice – 100 hours
Teaching Methodology – 25 hours
Anatomy and Physiology – 20 hours
Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers – 30 hours
Practicum – 10 hours
Homework and Exams – 15 hours
Monthly Meetings (optional) – 4 hours
Course Requirements:
100% attendance of all weekend intensive training sessions and weekday training sessions
100% completion of homework and assignments
Completion of application and deposit
Students responsible for tuition, purchase of journals and books, keeping requirement log, practice teaching, and attending class, completing essays, 6 class observations, and 5 assists.

Definitions
Techniques: Includes asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, and meditation. Hours in this category include both training in the techniques and the practice of them with real-time feedback you can apply right away. Classes are included.
Teaching Methodology: Principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, instruction, teaching styles and sequencing, qualities of a teacher and the student’s process of learning.
Anatomy and Physiology: Includes both human physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc.). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns, etc).
Philosophy/Ethics/Lifestyle: Study of yoga philosophies, yoga lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers.
Practicum: Includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching and hearing and giving feeback. Also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching.
